Pair of Coffee Mugs

These handthrown of porcelain, were a complete experiment. I lathered soft porcelain on the outside for decoration, kind of like putting icing on a cake.

Then it is textured with finger marks and a serrated tool. approx 3x3x4.5" size

The pulled handles were given a little bit of extra texture and lift.

Shino glazed and these pieces show heavy carbon trapping, therefore the glaze looks dark grey.

Light blue rim.

A little of the smaller-side than what I usually make, but still will hold a full cup of coffee. If you like smaller portions, or you drink it strong, these are the cups for you.
